📌 Overview

ExxonMobil has commenced recruitment for seven experienced technical specialists and supervisors to support its Nigeria operations. Positions span maintenance, process operations, integrity management, mechanical, instrumentation, electrical, and industrial control systems (ICSR). Roles are based offshore or in Lagos with regular offshore visits.

Applicants should have 3–10 years of oil & gas industry experience, with FPSO (Floating Production Storage and Offloading) background considered an advantage.

📋 Role Highlights

Maintenance Coordinator

• Coordinate maintenance materials & procurement
• Support planning & work execution
• Knowledge of SAP/CMMS, P&IDs, ESD, Fire & Gas systems
• Qualification: HNC/Bachelor’s in Mechanical/Materials/Corrosion/Structural/Marine/Petroleum Engineering
• Experience: 5+ years in oil & gas maintenance

Process Technician

• Monitor production processes & equipment
• Conduct surveillance & sampling
• Knowledge of crude oil processing, DCS, P&IDs, LOTO procedures
• Qualification: HND/Bachelor’s in Process/Instrumentation Engineering
• Experience: 3+ years in oil & gas

Maintenance Integrity Supervisor

• Lead integrity & corrosion management programmes
• Strong knowledge of API 510, API 570, RBI, NDT
• Qualification: HNC/Bachelor’s in Mechanical/Materials/Corrosion/Structural/Marine Engineering
• Experience: 10+ years (5+ supervisory)

Mechanical Specialist

• Provide technical support for mechanical systems
• Experience with generators, pumps, compressors, HVAC, valves
• Qualification: HND/City & Guilds Level 4/Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering
• Experience: 5+ years

Instrument Specialist

• Maintain & troubleshoot instrumentation systems
• Knowledge of DCS, PLCs, control valves, pressure/temperature/level instruments
• Qualification: HND/City & Guilds Level 4/Bachelor’s in Instrumentation & Controls
• Experience: 5+ years

Electrical Specialist

• Provide technical support for electrical systems
• Knowledge of HV/LV power systems, switchgear, motor drives, alternators, inverters, protection systems
• Qualification: HND/City & Guilds Level 4/Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering
• Experience: 5+ years

ICSR Specialist

• Maintain security & reliability of Industrial Control Systems
• Conduct cybersecurity risk assessments & incident response
• Knowledge of DCS, PLC, Emerson, Triconex, ESD, Fire & Gas systems
• Qualification: HND/City & Guilds Level 4/Bachelor’s in Instrumentation & Controls
• Experience: 5+ years

✅ General Requirements

• Relevant academic qualifications (HND, City & Guilds Level 4, or Bachelor’s degree)
• 3–10 years of oil & gas industry experience
• Valid NYSC Discharge or Exemption Certificate
• Strong technical, analytical & problem‑solving skills
• Good communication & teamwork abilities
• Offshore/FPSO experience is an advantage
